New City Vision Opens The Door On 'Peace Of Mind' Incentive - Wednesday 25 June 2008

A leading Scottish property developer has come up with an innovative solution for homebuyers who are desperate to move house but are being put off by the hype around the so-called credit crunch.

New City Vision, which is currently creating two stunning new communities in the east and north west Glasgow, is the first developer in Scotland to offer buyers peace of mind by allowing them to reserve a property subject to the sale of their own.

New City Vision's sales and marketing director, Sandra McGuire, explains: "We have been inundated by buyers desperate to purchase at our Gartloch Village and Drumchapel developments, but the hype around the credit crunch has left them nervous about making a commitment before selling their existing home.

"People are becoming increasingly frustrated that they don't have the confidence to go for the house of their dreams because they don't yet have the peace of mind that their current home will sell.

"We have therefore decided to offer a common sense approach that removes the hassle and worry for our buyers and allows them to concentrate on selling their own home. It's a win-win situation.

"We have simply listened to our customers and responded to their needs so that, with a straightforward 1% deposit, homebuyers do not need to miss out on the property they desire."

New City Vision's Gartloch Village development, just 10 minutes east of Glasgow city centre, is nestled within 100 acres of stunning woodland, centred around a Grade A listed former Victorian hospital.

Working alongside award-winning architects, the developer has created a unique blend of properties to suit every type of buyer, from innovatively transformed mews cottage conversions through to new build three, four and five-bedroom detached homes and four-bedroom townhouses. Prices range from £145,000 through to £320,000.

The company's Drumchapel regeneration development, located off Great Western Road , will see the creation of an exciting and innovative new community. The first phase offers a vast selection of 91, two, three and four- bedroom homes.

The bespoke designs, which offer the highest specification and finish at value for money prices, suit all tastes and lifestyles, ranging from stylish townhouses and spacious terraced properties, through to detached and semi-detached family properties.

Over 124 acres of land, 1,250 new homes will be created, set out in eight distinctive neighbourhoods. New shops, roads, public paths and garden areas are integral to the creation of the new community, where prices start from £129,995.

The Gartloch Village and Drumchapel sales centres are open seven days a week from 10am - 5.30pm.  For Gartloch Village, contact 0141 773 2247. For Drumchapel, contact 0141 274 2070. Further information can also be found by visiting www.newcityvision.co.uk
